CPI(M) member arrested for links with Maoist links: Security forces seizes leaflets containing dangerous anti-national materials

Kozhikode: The Maoists links of CPI(M) member is worrying as the police seizes leaflets containing dangerous anti-national materials. The leaflets accuse the Indian government of oppression of the Kashmiri people and claims that Kashmir is not part of India. It also speaks against the Citizens’ Bill.

Curiously, the communist terrorists’ leaflets speaks in the same vein as that of Pakistan based Islamic terrorists fighting against India in Kashmir.

The police seized these leaflets from the home of Thaha, the CPI(M) member arrested for Maoist links. Three types of leaflets, banners, and books spreading the philosophy of Maoism were also found at his residence.

The leaflets calls for a referendum in Kashmir, demands India withdraw its occupation of Kashmir, says that Kashmir must be an independent country and also asks to abandon the Citizens’ register.

The leaflets also accuse Jawaharlal Nehru and the Congress for not conducting a referendum in Kashmir and says that they have betrayed the Kashmiri people.

It also claims that report on the encounters in Nilambur and  Vythiri has not been published and protests must begin against it. In another leaflet there are instructions for those Maoists activists working in the public in other names.

The local bodies and the area committees and zonal committees are working in utmost secret to support the Maoists fighting the Indian Republic in the forests of the country.

Another serious concern is the relation that the communist terrorists have made with Islamic fundamentalists. The leaflets points the finger towards a possible relation between the two.
