Thiruvananthapuram: Students who expressed their views on PSC Exam scam, which involved SFI student leaders, were attacked by SFI goons belonging to the University College. The attackers were SFI activists and friends of SFI leader Nazim, who was involved in the PSC Exam scam and also the stabbing case in the campus.
The victims were attacked when they reached the college campus to collect their Transfer Certificate.
Yesterday, Nazim’s Facebook post came under criticism, when he said that it was his ability that he copied in the PSC Exam to get high marks. Many, including the victims, had come out against his statement. This triggered the attack, which was led by a co-accused and SFI leader in the stabbing case.
The students were admitted to the general hospital with grave injuries. However, the victims were afraid to give statement to the police about the attack. They also went to the police station and said that they have no complaints against the SFI attackers.
Though, at first the victims wanted to file a police complaint they later changed their minds in fear of retaliation from SFI. Nazim is a former SFI leader and the third accused in the PSC Exam scam. He is also the second accused in a stabbing case in the University College.
SFI leaders like Nizam are confident that the CPI(M) which leads the government, will back them no matter what crime they commit. His statement in Facebook shows how a communist leader can commit crime with impunity and then brag about the same.
