Pathanamthitta: The Orthodox Church has accused the Kerala government for not executing the Supreme Court order in the ongoing feud between the Orthodox Church and the Jacobite faction. The head of the Orthodox Church, Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II said that the if the government has interest it needs only a moment to execute the apex court’s verdict.
The Catholicos Bava was speaking at a protest meeting arranged by the Thumbamon Diocese at Pathanamthitta. He added that a few people cannot destroy the Orthodox Church. A resolution was also passed at the protest meeting by the Orthodox Church.
The resolution fiercely attacks the government for not executing the Supreme Court verdict. The resolution says that though, the government is bound to execute the order, some have conveniently forgotten about it.
