Changanesherry : State Government’s stand in sabarimala women entry calls for a state of emergency. The police force’s actions in rage against the devotees is unacceptable, complains the NSS. G.Sukumaran Nair, General Secretary of NSS had come up with the harsh criticism against the Government. The devotees who stood to protect the beliefs and traditions of the temple for ages, must not be ill treated. The state Government is clinging to a stand that is dishonest and antidemocratic, states NSS.

Instead of filing a review petition or pointing to the happenings at Sabarimala in the Court, the Government is proceeding with legal actions to shatter the will of devotees to stand for their beliefs. On top of it the Government had played a very cheap game by restricting the Devaswom board from doing the right actions in favor of the devotees.

Ministers of the state legislature is proving their standards with low class language they use against the Panthalam Palace and Thantri Samajam had hurt the devotees high time. Such actions of shame should not have happened from a democratic government.

NSS will join hand in hand with devotees. Peaceful and legal path will b e followed to resist the Governments anarchy.

On the occasion of celebration, of NSS flag day on 31st October. NSS had planned State wide prayer protest in every local NSS office to save Sabarimala.
