Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s every time arrogance on journalists was repeated again but this time on an event hostess. Pinarayi went furious when the hostess asked the audience to stand up while lighting of the lamp. The incident occurred during the inauguration of the Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority at Muscat Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.
The hostess invited the distinguished guest to inaugurate the lamp and requested the audience to stand up. The Chief Minister intervened on this request. He got up to light the lamp and turned to the hostess and shouted, “No such unnecessary announcement required.” Listening to this the audience went aw and were confused whether to stand or sit. The Chief Minister then gestured to the audience to sit.
After addressing the inaugural event, he walked out of the stage wherein some of the guests followed him till the entrance but he refused entertaining them too.
