Thiruvananthapuram: Two Islamic terrorists of the Tamil Nadu National League will be presented before the Judicial Magistrate, today, for shooting dead Special Sub-Inspector, Wilson, at a check point on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border.
The accused Thoufeek and Shameem were arrested the other day from Uddupi in Karnataka. They were absconding after shooting to death police officer Vincent while he was on duty. The attack was in retaliation for the arrests of some members of the terror outfit.
Toufeek and Shameem were handed over to the Q Branch of Tamil Nadu by the Bengaluru Central Crime Branch yesterday.
The accused were brought to Kaliykkavilla, where the attack took place, under heavy security. Both are members of the Tamil Nadu National League, which is the new version of the former Muslim extremist organization Al Umma.
