Bengaluru: The BJP MP from Udupi-Chickmagalur in Karnataka has hit hard against the Kerala government for being concerned only with vote bank politics and not taking action against anti-nationals. The Kerala police had booked her for misleading and spreading incorrect information on Citizenship Amendment Act.
The BJP MP hit back and said, “Unfortunately they (Kerala government) have booked case against me. They don’t look at people who do anti-national and anti-social activities. They only think of vote bank.”
The Malappuram district police chief Abdul Kareem had confirmed that a case was registered against Shoba Karandlaje. She was booked for destroying communal harmony when she raised the water issue in which the residents of a colony were denied drinking water for supporting CAA.
In a tweet she said, “Kerala is taking baby steps to become another Kashmir! Hindus of Kuttipuram Panchayat of Malappuram was denied water supply as they supported CAA2019. Seva Bharati has been supplying water ever since. Will Lutyens telecast this intolerance of PEACEFUL from God’s Own Country!?”.
