Aluva: BJP has given a complaint against jihadi elements belonging to Popular Front of India and SDPI for shouting intimidating slogans against BJP’s pro-CAA rally which included a number of women and children.
The jihadis shouted slogans at the rally threatening to cut off the hands, legs and even heads. They also recalled the Malabar rebellion of 1921 in which thousands of Hindus were massacred by Muslim mobs in Malabar. The jihadis shouted that the swords they used in Malabar rebellion will be used again.
The BJP conducted the Desha Raksha rally or the National Security rally to educate the people about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The saffron party has filed complaint to the Aluva Rural SP against the activists of PFI and SDPI for shouting intimidating slogans and also for creating communal disharmony and forcing the shops to shut down and calling for an immediate hartal.
The BJP complains that there was no action from the part of the police against these anti-social elements. Moreover, the police which was present during the rally did not take any action against them when they shouted threatening slogans.
