Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala has reported that 1793 persons in the state are under observation for Corona virus. No new positive cases of Corona virus were reported in Kerala so far. Meanwhile, three persons were arrested in Kerala for spreading fake news regarding the threat of Corona virus.
Today, police in Thrissur district arrested Shafi, Sirajudeen and Sabari for spreading fake news in the State concerning the threat of Corona virus. A resident of Punaloor, Anish George, is also under the scanner for spreading false news in social media.
Six other persons are identified for forwarding these fake messages and they too will be charged in the case. It is a crime to spread information about those persons who are under observation for Corona virus at their homes.
The Health Department said that no new cases of the disease has been reported in the State. However, 21 people are in the hospital under observation with symptoms of the disease.
The health condition of the every person under observation is satisfactory and there is nothing to worry about.
