Alappuzha: Thousands paid last tributes to the ideal Swayamsevak P Parameswarji, the great son of Bharathamba who has become an eternal memory and an everlasting flame of guidance. Bharatiya Vichara Kendram Director, Kanyakumari Vivekananda Kendra President as well as the veteran pracharak of R S S, Parameswarji has been an idol of greatness in the minds of tens of thousands of people in the nation.
The last rites were performed at Thamarassery residence in Muhamma this evening. Parameswarji was cremated with state honours. Large number of people gathered in his residence to bid adieu. Parameswarji’s mortal remains were consigned to flames after mourning procession from Kalavur to his residence at Muhamma.
His body was earlier kept at Bharatiya Vichara Kendra, VJT Hall and RSS pranth karyalay ‘Madhav Nivas’ for thousands to pay their last respects.
