Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) State Secretary, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, today, said that the SDPI and the Jamaat-e-Islami are communal organizations and works to spread communal divisions in the society. He also warned that the slogan ‘Bolo Thakbir’ is dangerous and must be opposed.
The CPI(M) leader also justified the missing of bullets from the police headquarters. He said that it was nothing new and bullets might have gone missing when he was the Home Minister of the state.
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the police are provided with bullets whenever they go for a duty. After arriving back the police officers might fail to return these bullets and there are no records at present to verify the bullets returned. This might be the reason that CAG reports that bullets are missing.
The CPI(M) State Secretary also reiterated the party stand that the party members, Alan and Thaha, who were arrested by police for Maoist connection, are infact members of the banned Maoist organization.
