Thiruvananthapuram: A group of SFI leaders brutally thrashed a student at Kariavattom Government College today afternoon. Surprisingly, the attack took place while the teachers remained mute spectators to this atrocity.
SFI former unit secretary, College union chairman and unit member led the attack on Anandu who is a second year student. The attackers entered the classroom and brutally thrashed him.
These SFI leaders had threatened Anandu earlier and had ordered him not to enter the campus. The former Unit Secretary, Karthik, had threatened him over the phone says Anandu.
Anandu’s father accuse the teachers for not trying to prevent the attack on his son. He has registered a complaint against the SFI leaders at the police station.
