Kochi: The Bharatiya Janata Party will march towards director Aashiq Abu’s house today in the case pertaining to Karuna Musical Night scam.
The march will start from the High Court Junction and be joined by AN Radhakrishnan, VN Vijayan and Sandeep Warrier. The police had also questioned the committee members of the Karuna team after receiving complaints to expose the financial fraudulence.
At the same time, CPI district secretary P Raju has come forward against Aashiq Abu and other organisers. He said that the money raised toward the relief fund should not be misused in any manner.
Aashiq Abu and his team had organized the Karuna Flood Relief Program last November in a bid for the welfare of the society. They were supposed to remit the fund raised to the Chief Minister’s disaster relief fund but they failed to do so.
