Kollam: The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, has come down heavily against former justice of High Court, B. Kemal Pasha for his support to pro-Islamic fundamentalists.
While speaking at a public function, Pinarayi Vijayan, said that Kemal Pasha has become a mouthpiece of the Jamaat-e-Islami and is spreading lies in the society. The Chief Minister criticised the former judge without naming him.
The Chief Minister asked why does a former judge feels so touchy when someone speaks against the Jamaat-e-Islami and the SDPI. Pinarayi Vijayan continued by saying that Kemal Pasha is making dangerous statements without even realizing the significance of the post he had held.
The former Judge is spreading lies about the government’s statement and policies regarding the National Population Register (NPR). The Chief Minister also accused Kemal Pasha for putting words into his mouth, which he did not make.
Pinarayi Vijayan’s strong rebuttal comes after Kemal Pasha’s controversial speeches during programmes conducted by Jamaat-e-Islami. His speech is also widely spread through the social media and is filled with statements that are against communal harmony.
