Palakkad: Union Minister V Muraleedharan said that the state government is veiling facts behind ‘Life Mission programme. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday announced that the state government could complete two lakh houses under ‘Life Mission’ programme.
While speaking at the inaugural ceremony of various projects implemented by Palakkad municipality, Muraleedharan demanded that the state government should clarify to the public on the amount provided by the Centre for the Life Mission project.
The Minister slammed the Pinarayi Vijayan led government for taking credit all by himself in the initiative.
“When Pinarayi Government is constructing two lakh houses under the name of Life Mission, it is necessary to clarify the shares held by both the state and the central government. Most of the projects in Kerala are implemented that comes from the central government. The state government should stop hiding the facts and clarify how much it got from the Centre,” V Muraleedharan said in a Facebook post.
