Thiruvananthapuram: The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, has called an all-party meeting to discuss the doubts raised by the opposition against the census. While speaking in the assembly he announced that the meeting will be held on the evening of 16 March.
The opposition parties had raised the issue that the enumerator is under the central government and that they held the power to ask any questions. Following the objections of the opposition, the Chief Minister is said to have decided to conduct the all-party meeting to settle all doubts concerning the census.
Pinarayi Vijayan also criticized the opposition for opposing the Life Mission scheme. He said that when two lakh persons are sleeping in their homes, the opposition’s charge against the scheme is sadistic.
Concerning the issue of exam questions in the Kerala Administrative Service exam, in which the same questions that were included in the Pakistan civil service exams were asked, the government replied that there was nothing unnatural in it.
