Thiruvananthapuram: A passenger who collapsed during a sudden strike by the KSRTC has lost his life. A native of Kadakampally, Surendran (60) was waiting for a bus for long hours.
Thiruvananthapuram witnessed a standstill after the KSRTC carried out a sudden strike.
Surendran swooned while waiting for a bus at East Fort followed by which other passengers tried to save him by giving primary care. Unfortunately it did not work out.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission has taken up a case for causing inconvenience to the public.
Transport Minister AK Saseendran has informed the assembly that the state government has ordered to submit a report on the situation. The Transport Minister also said that the Collector has been entrusted with this.
