Thiruvananthapuram: The Health Ministry has said in its bulletin that 732 persons in Kerala are under observation for Covid-19. Out of the 732 persons 648 people are at home and the rest are under observation in hospitals.
Out of this tests were done on 729 persons at the National Virology Institute. 664 persons were found negative in the test. The health of those admitted to the hospital is said to be satisfactory.
The bulletin also said that those who came from countries affected by the virus must stay at home under observation.
The bulletin advises people to avoid touching rails used to hold and to keep queues in places of worship and where people crowd. If railings are touched make sure to wash hands thoroughly. The bulletin also advises to keep a hands distance apart from other people in crowds thronging to seek darshan in temples and other religious centers.
Hugging and handshakes are also to be avoided to prevent from being infected with the virus. Try not to touch the face, nose, and eyes. Those who are having coughs, breathlessness, fever, or those with kidney ailments, diabetes, heart problems must stay at home and rest and avoid going to have darshans.
The authorities also asked to use handkerchiefs when coughing and sneezing.
