Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that no one has been accused or arrested in the case pertaining to Sandeepanandagiri’s vehicles which were set ablaze at his homestay. The Chief Minister was responding to a query by KS Sabarinath MLA in the Assembly. He also said that the Crime Branch is investigating the matter.

The attack took place at the homestay of Sandipanandagiri in Kundaman Kadavu of Thiruvananthapuram on the wee hours of October 27, 2018.

Two cars, a bike and car porch was completely burnt. Yet now, no one has been arrested in connection with the attack.

The witness was just an employee of homestay. There were many suspicions when it was found that the CCTVs were not working and the security employee was on leave. Immediately after the incident, the Chief Minister, Devaswom Minister and other CPM leaders had reached the spot.

The investigation into the matter is prolonging without any developments.
