Thrissur: CITU organises meeting by violating coronavirus alert advisory by the government at Thrissur Sahitya Academy.
As per reports, about 150 people attended the event. The Collector had asked to stop the meeting in Thrissur, however, the CITU argued that they had taken precautionary measures.
Meanwhile, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala alleged that CITU can do whatever it wants.
The state government had advised that public gatherings should be avoided in the wake of the virus infection outbreak. Around 613 people are being monitored for coronavirus.
