Thiruvananthapuram: A Janam TV cameraman, Vibin Mohan, was attacked today by CPI(M) goons when he was filming an election at a cooperative bank in the district. The Collector had stopped the election after he said that protocols were not maintained.
Vibin Mohan was attacked when he was taking the visuals of the election to the bank. CPI(M) members ordered him that he cannot take the visuals of the election. He was then attacked and his camera was broken by the communist goons.
Vibin is now undergoing treatment at a general hospital in Attingal.
Meanwhile, Minister Kadakampally Surendran said that he did not come to know about the attack on media persons and said that if it happened then it’s wrong. He said that the government will take action against those who are responsible for the attack.
