Kochi: Five members of a tourist group from UK have been confirmed with COVID-19 in Kochi. They were under isolation after one member of their 19-member group had the infection. The group was first under observation at Munnar from where they escaped and tried to board a flight to Britain on 15 March. However, they were disembarked from the flight and sent to isolation.
They tested positive while staying in isolation at Ernakulam Medical College in Kallamassery. The total cases in Kochi have now risen to nine.
