Thiruvananthapuram: In a press meet, the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, said that another 12 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the state today. While three persons each from Ernakulam and Kannur tested positive for the infection, six people have been confirmed with COVID-19 in Kasaragod.
Those who were confirmed with the infection today were all gulf returnees. Currently there are 53013 people under observation across the state.
The Chief Minister reported also that 2566 persons have left observation after being confirmed that they do not have the infection.
