Kollam: Sub Collector of Kollam Anupam Mishra who was under quarantine has gone missing. The sub-collector who had returned from abroad was in quarantine at his official residence since March 19.
Anupam Mishra was found missing on Thursday, when the Health Department arrived at his residence and tried to contact him. The officials were given a reply that he is in Kanpur.
Such an incident is a major violation by the IAS officer. Mishra is an officer from 2016 batch, who hails from Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, the health department is trying to trace whether he has come in contact with any other people and how he could escape back to his hometown.
