Kochi: One of the positive cases of COVID-19 in Kerala includes a Junior Health Inspector. He was serving at the Cochin International Airport when the outbreak began to spread in Kerala. It is believed that he might have contracted the virus from the Airport while on duty.
It is now found that he had worked at the Aluva Railway Station too since 3 March, checking passengers for temperature.
The authorities are checking for those who were in contact with him at the airport with the help of CCTV and asked them to go into isolation. There were around 20 health workers during the time at the airport, though they were working at different places.
He is currently at the Medical College and his condition is said to be normal.
