Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has decided to contribute Rs 50 lakh to the BCCI who has vowed to donate Rs 51 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
“When the country is passing through tough times, it’s the responsibility of various of sports and games organisation to contribute,” BCCI joint secretary and former KCA president Jayesh George said.
Also the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on Sunday said it would donate Rs 50 lakh each to the central government and the state government for their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The other state associations who have come forward to help include Cricket Association of Bengal, Mumbai Cricket Association and Saurashtra Cricket Association.
