Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan backfired at the criticisms for lighting lamp to express solidarity against the coronavirus.
He said that there was nothing wrong in lighting a lamp and that unique exercise gave a thought to stand united when the country is in difficult situation.
The CM responded to the criticisms including from the CPM politburo that it was unethical to light a lamp. He said that igniting a lamp of unity has brought a ray of hope even among the affected people.
