Thiruvananthapuram: After Union Home Ministry sought explanation from state government for easing lockdown relaxations that was not in accordance with the Centre’s guidelines, Kerala issues new guidelines wherein no permission has been granted to open barber shops and restaurants. Only parcel services will be permitted to the customers.
Barber shops will not be opened however, they can go to customer’s house for the service. Online food delivery services will be extended till 9 pm.
The letter from Home Secretary to Kerala Chief Secretary mentioned that the state had diluted the instructions given by the central government and asked the state to revoke the relaxations announced without permission from the Centre.
