Thiruvananthapuram: The BJP today organised a protest asking to withdraw Sprinklr contract signed by the state government. Inaugurating the protest, BJP state President K Surendran alleged that under the pretext of coronavirus, heartless looting is being carried out by the state.
Surendran said that the state government has a ulterior motive behind signing the contract with the US-based private firm. By signing of the agreement, the government has violated the human rights. He alleged that in the data exchange deal, Chief Minister is the main villain of the scene.
By signing of the contract, the government has shared personal information of the individuals to the drug manufacturing companies. The agreement was signed without complying with central government norms.
Twenty-five thousand centres in Kerala have been protesting against the agreement deal that also by following the lockdown guidelines, he added.
