Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday informed that 13 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the state.
6 cases are from Kottayam, 4 from Idukki while one each from Palakkad, Malappuram and Kannur districts.
Among them, 5 had returned from Tamil Nadu while one returned from abroad. Six persons developed the disease through contact. It is yet to be ascertained how one person contracted the disease.
So far 481 confirmed cases have been reported in the state. Among them, 123 patients are under treatment at various hospitals.
