New Delhi: Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan lashed out at the state government for their lack of caution that resulted in a quick surge in coronavirus cases in Kottayam and Idukki. The Minister through his Facebook post blamed the state government.
“Within no time, the green zone districts have turned to red zone,” he said.
Muraleedharan said that the state government is trying to showcase Kerala as a model for the world, however it cannot be denied that increase in the transmission of the disease is due to the mishandling of the crisis by the government.
The Minister asked Pinarayi Vijayan and his team to open their eyes and act according to the situation. He also urged the government to expand the coronavirus testing only by which it could be considered whether a social transmission has taken place in the region.
