Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has made it mandatory for the people to attain travel passes who come from various states by train. The government clarified that those who have already applied for the pass by mentioning another commutation should cancel it and submit a fresh application if they are returning by train services.
People must apply for the travel pass in the official website ‘COVID-19 Jagratha’.
The railway stations of departure, arrival, train number and PNR number must be recorded in the application.
Each passenger will be examined after they arrive at railway stations, and those with zero symptoms will have to be under home quarantine for 14 days.
KSRTC will operate services from railway stations.
