Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has decided to impose tax on liquor, thereby the prices of liquor will increase by 10 to 35 per cent.
The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting held today. Beer and wine will also see an increase of rate by 10 per cent.
In the cabinet meeting, the government has also called for alertness in the state. As more expats are arriving in the state, the government decided to ramp up the monitoring.
