Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded fresh 14 cases of coronavirus today. The cases have been reported from Malappuram with four patients, two each from Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur districts and one each from Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kasaragod districts.
Of these two came from abroad (one from Kuwait, and another from UAE) and 10 others from other states. Out of 10, 7 are from Tamil Nadu and 3 are from Maharashtra. The infected person reported in Ernakulam is a Uttar Pradesh native who came from Male.
Infected person in Kollam is a healthcare worker.
The tests did not turn out to be negative of those patients undergoing treatment. There are about 101 people under treatment. About 497 people recovered from the disease.
A total of 60,612 people arrived in the state, including 3467 through the airport, 1033 through the seaport, 55,086 via check post and 1026 by train.
