Kochi: Basil Joseph directorial ‘Minnal Murali’ movie’s sets has been vandalized by International Hindu Parishad. The sets were destroyed in the name of hurting religious sentiments. The VHP alleged that Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s name is being dragged into the incident and demanded that strict action to be taken against culprits.
The VHP said in a statement that the Sangh organisations have nothing to do with the International Hindu Parishad and their activities. However, many media outlets, online media and some individuals have come forward claiming baseless allegations against VHP.
The propagandists should understand the truth and withdraw such allegations otherwise, stringent legal action will be taken against them, said VHP in a statement.
The movie set was erected near the Mahadeva temple at Manapuram, Kalady with the permission of temple’s governing body.
