Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala today recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases with new 86 cases.
Of the total cases, 15 are from Malappuram, 10 from Alappuzha, 9 from Kasaragod, 8 from Kollam, 7 from Thiruvananthapuram,6 each from Kottayam, Thrissur and Wayanad, 5 each from Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur, 3 from Ernakulam, and 1 from Pathanamthitta.
Of these cases, 46 arrived from abroad, and 26 came from other states. 12 people infected through contact.
Meanwhile, the results of 19 patients who were diagnosed with the disease have turned negative.
At the same time one death has been reported today. The deceased who was undergoing treatment for lung infection, succumbed to the coronavirus at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Nalanchira native Rev. Fr K.G.Varghese (77) was tested positive for coronavirus.
