Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala has recorded new 107 cases of coronavirus today.
Of the total cases, 27 cases from Malappuram, 26 from Thrissur, Pathanamthitta 13, Kollam 9, Alappuzha 7, 6 each from Palakkad and Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram 4, 3 each from Kottayam and Kasaragod, Kannur 2 and one from Idukki.
Of these 71 came from abroad, and 28 from other states. 8 people infected through contact.
6 new hotspots have emerged in the state taking the total hotspots to 144.
At the same time, 41 people have been tested negative for the virus.
The total cases in the state stands at 1095 while 803 have been cured/ discharged.
