Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala reported 83 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday while 62 patients recovered from the disease, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Of the total cases, 25 are from Thrissur, Palakkad-1, Malappuram and Kasaragod 10 each, 8 are from Kollam, 7 from Kannur, 5 from Pathanamthitta, 2 from Ernakulam, 2 from Kottayam, and one from Kozhikode.
Of these cases, 27 arrived from abroad and 37 from other states. 14 people infected through contact, including 5 healthcare workers.
