Kochi: High court has disqualified Azheekkod MLA K M Shaji. The court has ordered to conduct the election again.
High court’s verdict is on the basis of the case filed by the then opponent candidate M V Nikesh Kumar. Nikesh Kumar had alleged that K M Shaji had made comments resulted in communal split during election campaign.
The court has also informed that K M Shaji cannot compete in elections for six years.
