Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala reported new 150 cases of coronavirus today. 65 of them tested negative. This is the eighth consecutive day with more than 100 cases.
Of the total cases, 23 are from Palakkad, Alappuzha 21, Kottayam 18, 16 each from Malappuram and Kollam, Kannur 13, Ernakulam 9, 7 each from Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode, Wayanad 5, Pathanamthitta 4, 2 each from Kasaragod and Idukki.
Of the confirmed cases, 91 came from abroad, 48 from other states. Meanwhile 11 infected thorugh contact.
The number of active cases now stands at 1,846. There are 114 COVID-19 hotspots in the state.
