Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded the highest-ever single day spike of 211 coronavirus cases in the state, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Meanwhile 201 people have been tested negative for coronavirus.
Of the total cases, Malappuram has recorded the highets number of cases with 35, followed by Kollam 23, Alappuzha and Thrissur 21 each, Kannur 18, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram 17 each, Palakkad, Kottayam and Kozhikode 14 each, Kasaragod and Pathanamthitta 7 each, Idukki 2 and Wayanad 1.
Of these confirmed cases, 138 arrived from abroad, 38 other states and 27 infected through contact.
