Thiruvananthapuram: A triple lockdown has been enforced in the capital city owing to the surging cases of coronavirus. All roads leading to the city have been sealed from 6 am for a week in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus, said State Police Chief Loknath Behra.
No vehicles will be allowed to move in the city.
Only hospitals, medical shops and grocery stores are allowed to open in the corporation sector. No government offices and institutions, including the Secretariat, will function during this period.
