Thiruvananthapuram: In the recent development into the probe of gold smuggling case, Customs and Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has reached former principal secretary to Chief Minister, M Sivasankar’s residence.
Three officials reached at his residence to issue notice demanding Sivasankar to appear for interrogation.
Meanwhile, the Customs has taken Sandeep Nair’s luxury car into custody. The officials raided a rented house in Karakulam. On the basis of the finding that the car, with Maharashtra registration, was used for gold smuggling. The car was then brought to Kochi under CRPF security.
