Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded fresh 623 cases of coronavirus, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Of the total cases, Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest with 157, followed by Kasaragod 74, Ernakulam 72, Kozhikode 64, Pathanamthitta 64, Idukki 55, Kannur 35, Kottayam 25, Alappuzha 20, Palakkad 19, Malappuram 18, Kollam 11, Thrissur 5, Wayanad 4.
Of the confirmed cases, 96 arrived from abroad, 76 other states. Meanwhile 432 people infected through contact.
The state also reported one death and 602 people were taken to the hospital today.
