Thiruvananthapuram: New revelations have come out in the gold smuggling case. The third accused Sandeep Nair in his statement to the NIA, mentions that he has met former principal secretary to Chief Minister, M Sivasankar at Swapna Suresh’s flat four times.
Sandeep also said that he had once dropped Sivasankar at the latter’s flat.
This statement has contradicted with that of Sivasankar, who had told Customs that he does not know Sandeep.
At the same time, Sandeep said that only Swapna knows the proceedings to export gold from Dubai and everything is controlled by her.
