Thiruvananthapuram: Heavy rains continue to lash in the state. The meteorological department has issued an orange alert in four districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki.
Fishermen are advised not to go to sea for two days off the coast of Kerala as there is a possibility of strong waves.
At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Thrissur districts.
