Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded new 1195 cases of coronavirus today, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. At the same time 1,234 samples tested negative for coronavirus.
Of the total cases, Thiruvananthapuram recorded with 274 cases, followed by Malappuram 167, Kasaragod 128, Ernakulam 120, Alappuzha 108, Thrissur 86, Kannur 61, Kottayam 51, Kozhikode 39, Palakkad 41, Idukki 39, Pathanamthitta 37, Kollam 30, Wayanad 14.
Of these confirmed cases, 971 infected through contact, while 66 arrived from abroad and 125 from other states.
