Malappuram: The surging cases in the district has been triggering fear among the masses. Now, Collector K Gopalakrishnan along with Deputy Collector, sub collector and 20 other officials in the district have tested positive for coronavirus.
The situation is getting worse as the Collectorate is turning into a Covid cluster.
On Thursday, Malappuram SP U Abdul Kareem tested positive for the virus infection. He had led the rescue operations in the Air India Express flight crash in Karipur.
