Kochi: The Kerala High Court has given a nod to resume investigation against former minister VK Ibrahim Kunju in the black money laundering case. The Enforcement Directorate informed the court that evidences have popped out against him in the primary investigation.
The case pertains to money laundering worth Rs 10 crores during demonetization period through a media organization under his control. The complaint was filed by Kalamassery native Gireesh Babu who said that the money was obtained through corruption in the Palarivattom overbridge deal.
The court said that all the allegations made can be probed. The Vigilance department is also investigating the case apart from Enforcement.
