Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded highest single-day jump of 1725 cases of coronavirus today. Meanwhile 1,131 have been recovered from the disease.
Thiruvananthapuram recorded the maximum cases with 461, followed by Malappuram 306, Thrissur 156, Alappuzha 139, Palakkad 137, Ernakulam 129, Kasaragod 97, Kottayam 89, Kannur 77, Kollam 48, Kozhikode 46, Idukki 23, Wayanad 15 and Pathanamthitta 2.
The state also registered 13 deaths.
Of these confirmed cases, 45 people arrived from abroad while 75 from other states. 1572 people infected through local transmission.
